Caroline Zimbalist is a New York City based artist and designer who hand creates one of a kind sculptures and art objects using her signature biomaterial design process. A lifelong artist, Zimbalist’s talents later earned her a BFA at Parsons studying fashion design. Zimbalist was always drawn to avant-garde style and further developed this passion while studying at the prestigious Central Saint Martins, London.
Constantly exploring new mediums, Zimbalist has established a reputable brand in the art world, best recognized for her original creation of ‘Vessels.’ Each sculpture is hand formed with a unique proprietary design process perfected by Zimbalist, herself. No two vessels are identical, thanks to Zimbalist’s unique process and therefore make each creation a collectible piece. These whimsical art objects vary in color, size and texture to offer a wide variety of visual appeal. Zimbalist has been sought after by fine art collectors worldwide due to her captivating sculpture designs.
Zimbalist’s imprint in New York continues to grow as her work is now offered in various galleries and retail locations across the city, including the gift shop of the iconic, Whitney Museum of American Art.
Zimbalist has built an impressive portfolio of brand collaborations for both her art objects as well as her growing line of wearable, artistic garments. Zimbalist’s creative direction has been tapped for the likes of rising fashion designers such as Elena Velez, Jane Wade and PH5 during their NYFW runway shows. Zimbalist designs wildly brilliant accessories and garments featuring her biomaterial design which made it down the runway during the chaotic glamor that is NYFW.
